Sit less, live longer

Sit less, exercise less, stand more=live longer.

As a follow up on yesterday’s post about the negative effects of sitting on kids, here’s an older article from the NY Times, “Sit Less Live Longer, on Sitting, Exercising and Standing.” From the results of the study, standing and low to moderate activity had the greatest positive effects on aging, even more so than exercising.
